Our Newest Addition

Landon Mac Mecham. One picture does not do him justice because he is always such a happy little guy. He's been smiling since he was just a couple of weeks old. The only time I've heard him fuss or cry is when he is hungry or needs a diaper change. This picture was taken November 2nd, the day he was blessed. Landon is our sixth grandchild.

5/6 of The Grandkids

The kids all looked so cute in their Halloween costumes. Kaden was a scarry dead pirate. Kaylee chose to be Hannah Montana. Jenna was princess Belle. Jordan was a race car driver from the movie Cars. Landon was dressed as a bat in a little tuxedo. Traditionally before the kids start trick or treating we have dinner, it's usually chili or soup in bread bowls. This year we mixed it up a little bit and had navajo taco's instead. Besides getting a bucket full of goodies trick or treating we rode the haunted train our neighbors, the Andersons, do every year of course everyone had lots of fun.

We're 4

Whenever the twins have a birthday. Lacey makes sure they each have their own cake. It's amazing they had such a rough start (weighing only 3 lbs.)and spent so much time in ICU. Look at them now so happy and healthy. They are so unique and have completely different personalities. Little ones grow up so fast!!!!

Payson Lakes

We spent Labor day weekend at Payson Lakes with Mindy and Cory. They found the perfect double campsite. We were able to extend both our awnings. Travis came up and spent a day and night with us. Laceys family and Derick and Tricia came up for Sunday dinner. Cory and Travis went down for the "Y" game while Mindy, Tiger, Dad & I went down to the lake for some rafting and water play. As you can see Tiger had a great time.

The Newlyweds

Derick and Tricia were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple on June 23rd. This is just one of the (too many good ones to chose from) pictures that was taken at the temple after they were sealed.

It's Offical - They're engaged

The engagement photo session was in downtown Salt Lake. Some of the backgrounds for the shots were trax, and the train station, as well as this shot taken outside one of the banks with several stories.

29 Years

We reached the 29 year mark on April 20th. We discovered the quaintness, romance, and good food offered at bed and breakfasts a couple of years ago so everytime we need a place to stay we look there first. Russ made arrangements for us at one in Salt Lake for our anniversary celebration this year. We got an added bonus with a limo ride through the beautiful canyon. Another fun perk is the beautiful gardens they always seem to have. We had the whole entire mansion to ourselves for the whole weekend.... as you can imagine it was a blast. There was a hot tub, sauna and jacuzzi tub in our bathroom, player piano, library full of books, ping pong table, pool table (Russ found out I'm no challenge), board games, huge big screen TV and game station set-up with every movie and game you can imagine, the list goes on and on............... There were so many ways to relax and un-wind.

Easter at Grandma and Grandpa's

Each year the Easter Bunny (Grandpa) hides a huge basket of eggs in our backyard. The eggs contain money and candy. The grandkids each have their own basket. The older ones find their eggs on their own and the little ones get a little help from Mom & Dad. When all the eggs have been located we all go in the house and the kids take turns hiding them so they can find them again. Tiger didn't really care about what was in them and being the "tidy" little helper that he is put all of his back in the big basket so we could count them.

Dividing the loot!

The adults open the eggs cause Grandma wants to make sure everything's even, especially the money. Notice how patient the kids are looking on.

Derick & Tricia

We went swimming for Kaden's 7th birthday party at Grandpa Toby's. Here'a a picture of Derick and Tricia at the festivities.

SLEDDING

Travis' ice house sled is perfect to pull behind the four wheeler with ALL of the grandkids. We have so much fun and it's easy to go fast without hurting anyone.
